Sandhill Crane

This design was inspired by the Sandhill Crane's annual arrival on our farm. From spring to fall, pairs & families are commonly found strolling through our pastures. Each day their unique trumpeting tone announces their arrival & departure like musical salutation. This design emphasizes some of my favorite Sandhill crane features including their slender neck. long beak & their striking red/white contrasted face markings.
