Bringing home the tree
$28.50
We got our family Christmas tree recently, It went surprisingly well considering previous family experiences & how many other families having dramatic come aparts we’ve witnessed. My husband @kromebs suggests Christmas tree places help move things along by providing groups w/a check list, when they hand you the saw. A list that helps you stay on track towards keeping the spirit of Christmas traditions alive! Hypothetical checklist: At least 4 of the following must be checked before purchasing a tree... 1. At least one party member called “dibs” in solely picking the tree this year- insisting someone else did last year 2. There’s been at least one disagreement on either how to get to the farm or where on the farm staff said to find the type of tree you’re looking for 3. Is at least half your party complaining about being cold? 4. Has a fight broke out about tree size- either in reference to actual height of a tree in consideration or how big a tree can fit in your chosen location? 5. Does at least one person have hurt feelings others didn’t agree w/ their favorite tree being the best? Got at least 4 checked? Then you’re ready to continue on. For bonus points or an opportunity to really make things memorable you can try for expert level tree tradition events... +1 if someone’s tree preferences been turned into a critic of their personal character or political views, or +2 if someone is no longer speaking. Give your family extra points for each person no longer on speaking terms. Happy Holidays!! Your family is ready to advance to the “physical injury during tree placement” & the always classic “tree decorating drama” rounds. Best of luck!
